Robotnik is a funny character in the film, as he asks Sonic's help in saving the Land of Darkness from his own metallic counterpart, Metal Robotnik, but is also luring Sonic and his friends into a trap, so that Metal Sonic will finally kill him. I always wondered, why does he wear that hat anyway?ĭr. Knuckles does help our heroes, but could offer some more help rather than getting paid for it. Tails is quite eccentric in this movie, as he nearly shouts when he's supposed to be talking normally to anyone. Sonic is cool as always, speeding through danger and helping to save his world from the evil Metal Sonic! Although it is a bit cheesy and odd moments, and also could've had some more bonus features, still it's a cool film that all Sonic fans should have in their collection.
It gives us true nostalgia, and an intriguing plot which keeps us coming back for more.
